Such a cute little hole in the wall spot to get some authentic Indian food! I instantly knew from the moment I walked in that it would be great food just from how yummy it smelled. :) We started with some yummy vegetable samosas and the chutneys were amazing. I had the mild chicken biryani with paratha and a mango lassi drink and it was all absolutely delicious! Great portions as well. My friend got the garlic naan with butter chicken and a coconut breeze drink and equally enjoyed it! 10/10 recommend and will be coming back to try more menu items. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, thank you so much for a pleasant experience!

By far the best Indian food I’ve had in Austin. Normally not a rice guy but it tastes really good mixed in with the sauce. They give you a good amount of meat with the curry.

A nice yet casual Indian restaurant. Very good food and a broad menu, with a few interesting drink options. Staff was good but not the most attentive. Conveniently located on South Lamar near so many other things, it’s a great place to go if you’re south of the river and want some quality Indian food before going to Half Prices Books or somewhere similar.

4/19/25 We dined in today at Tikka House and it was a fantastic experience and food was amazing. We ordered the eggplant dish, Punjabi Goat Curry, and a Chicken Curry. The sev poori was also amazing. The highlight was the cheese Naan. Years ago, I had the best cheese Naan in Malaysia and this compares to what I had back then. ------- Ordered food for pickup today and the food was really good. We hope to dine in soon. Ordered the following: 1. Goat Briyani 2. Lamb Briyani (both briyani was delicious) 3. Irani Goat - this was amazing 4. Chicken 65 - this was not bad 5. Jalapeno Naan - was good too

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tikka House in Austin, and it was truly a standout experience that I highly recommend. While the food alone is enough to warrant a five-star rating, the truly exceptional service elevated the entire meal into something memorable. What makes Tikka House truly special is the hospitality. The entire team provided service that was attentive, warm, and genuine, making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. A massive thank you is due to Bishnu, Ram, and Anju. Bishnu was an absolute gem—attentive without hovering, and ready with perfect recommendations that showed a real understanding of the menu. Ram ensured the flow of the meal was seamless, always checking in with a warm smile and making sure our table had everything we needed instantly. Anju completed the experience with her delightful presence and efficiency, ensuring every detail was handled professionally and cheerfully. It is rare to find such high-caliber food paired with such a caring and professional staff. Bishnu, Ram, and Anju are incredible ambassadors for Tikka House. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Indian food and truly remarkable service in Austin, look no further than Tikka House!
